This is the sister page to that of Root Love. After formalising an idea towards how I wanted Root Love to appear, I also wanted to make sure the opposite side of the journal had a balance to it. I wanted the up / down balance, and to show roots for him, and treetops for me.

Today, Shimelle sent out a mid-week spark, simply asking us to write down an immediate response to a list of words she provided. We would then journal some of those words as a summary of who we are “today”. It fit with what I wanted to do, so I did this immediately.

Again, this is based simply on an image, white paint, distress ink, a black marker pen - and a set of alpha rubber stamps.
