This was a difficult theme - it took me a long time to contemplate my take on the thing. I also wanted to have a go at the grids which seem to be a trend in the art journaling world of late.

This is all hand-drawn using marker pens only - I played around with colouring in some of the graphics in here, but my watercolouring is too bright, and I prefer the simple black and white nature of this one.

My apologies for the scan - it’s very poor - I really must get around to cleaning the scanner window. None of the grey that you see actually exists in real life - however the scanning does produce some interesting shadows, lol.
