Microsoft offers this free powertoy for Win XP users. Install, and a right click on a photo will give you the option to save for an email - or screen, at small, medium or large sizes - without changing your original photo. A helpful tool.

Very basic Image Package, providing collage, sepia and frame functions. Allows the newbie digital photographer to save photos onto desktop, send by emails etc. Downloadable from this website, and costs US$29 to order.

Collage maker, for your photos. The basic package is only US$19, but for US$89 you can get more features. The forums show it is still a bit lacking, however. LumaPix also has a Fotoscraps gallery, for users and digiscrappers.

This is a free application being developed by Washington State University students, to replace the Paint program in Windows. At the latest version, it now allows layers and several other features found in higher end Photo Editors. Try it out - it's free.
