Scrapblog of the Week - Week 3

Scrapability’s Scrap Blog of the Week -Week 3 2006 : RU Square?

RU Square is Ginger Thibodeau’s blog, and a reasonably new one at that. Although she blogs predominantly about the digital scrapbooking world, this blog has the lookings to be a great resource for both the traditional world and that of digital scrappers.Ginger called this blog RU Square - because she scraps predominantly in a rectangular format.

Rectangles - whether a normal UK A4, or the US sized 8 1/2 x 11 inch dimensions (or smaller, say 7 x 5) is a likely trend in many pages this coming year. Certainly, for digital scrappers - it’s much easier to create an 8 1/2 x 11 inch layout, whether portrait or landscape, and simply print it out at home on our photo quality printers. And cheaper too.

The RU Square blog has a bonus - she provides occasional rectangular sketches as challenges also. And she’s increasing the resource links for rectangular scrappers on her lists also, as she goes. Although new(ish) I think this particular blog will become a valuable resource for all of us, and still remain a personal digital designer’s webspace, where we will learn just a little bit about her also.

OMG! Michelle, I am so so very honored to receive this award! Wow! I know as a rectangle scrapper, I have always searched for good inspirations, so I was hoping that my Blog would help others out there like me - both paper and digital! Thanks for helping me to get the word out!
