Latest News What is Your Happiness?
Friday, June 16, 2006 at 10:45PM I think she might be asking the wrong person at the moment, but I’m sure that won’t put her off. I don’t know where these scrap-lebs get there overall optimism and plain ol’ perkiness from, but I wish I could tap some of that for a few days.
Anyway, Ali Edwards, reknowned for this, has a new sub-blog out - called What is Your Happiness Today? Each day, she posts a quote. As Ali suggests at the upshot with a quote - “Og Mandino : Realize that true happiness lies within you…”
On June 12th, Ali posted a quote on happiness and changing the world by Anne Frank. I visited Anne Frank’s house whilst in Amsterdamn (and approximately one month’s pregnant) a few years ago. It may have been the hormones, but (and this is nothing about the depth of a must-read story that Anne Frank’s Diary brings to the world itself) - that house was the most moving thing I can remember for a very long time. But it did not have any feelings of happiness within.
Quotes are the most wondrous things, are they not - one person’s selection is intended to motivate, whilst the very things send readers off on tangents of thoughts and memories. And that’s the way I am sure, Ali Edwards wants it.
