DotSCRAP Alliance
Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 06:53PM It was my birthday today (and a wonderful one it was too - new hair, a new EHD, and an IPOD Video - but importantly, a lovely picnic lunch at a lake with my family).
In the early morning hairdressor’s appointment, I take the latest scrapping magazines through my mailbox - it seems to be the only time nowadays that I have to sit down and actually read a magazine. I had the latest Simple Scrapbooks to read - a magazine that grows on me more and more.
Did anyone notice the big fullpage advert at the end of it?
Digital Done Different, unwrapping this summer. This appears to be an alliance of some high-players in the traditional paper-based industry, plus one Photo Editor company - LumaPix.
The companies -
- AMM
- Autumn Leaves
- Creative Imaginations
- Daisy Ds
- DMD
- K & Co
- KI Memories
- LumaPix
- Rastar
- scrapbook.com
- SEI
- Westrim Crafts
There is a frontpage on the web now - www.dotSCRAP.net - which just shows us the same graphics as found in the SS magazine, but you can sign up for a newsletter.
Is this really the movement of some paper-based companies into digital products?
