Another 4000 words, my average per day is 4000 now, over the whole month. I have no idea how I did the days of 10,000 words - did I not live those days? But anyway, I am working on the climax chapters now, the second to last. The spreadsheet is forecasting finishing at just under the 140,000 mark. I think that might be incorrect, by at least 10,000 - which will no doubt be edited out in the second draft, but my main objective is to just finish now. Some of these scenes take a lot to write, I seem to be living and breathing the end of this book, and I’m finishing today, an hour early, just so that I can surface into reality for the sake of my daughter and our dinner.

I think two days over-run on the month target won’t be too bad a sacrifice, provided I get done with this thing by the end of the week.
